Big Buck World is the 8th game in the Big Buck Hunter series and is the final Generation 2 game of the series.

There are hidden bonuses that can be found throughout the games, each hidden bonus is from one of the bonus games found in each game. In Big Buck Hunter Pro: Open Season, you can find hidden frogs and chickens for extra points, but you can only find these bonuses in the Elk, Mule Deer, Bison, and Mountain Goat adventures. However, in Big Buck Safari: Outback, there are hidden Shrunken Heads and Turtles that can be found in every adventure.

In Big Buck World's logo, a Bush Baby is prominently seen on the logo, as well, a Rusa Deer and a Bengal Tiger are also featured prominently on the marquee and the side art of the standard cabinet. In the Deluxe model of the cabinet, a Mule Deer, Ibex, Banteng, and Emu are featured on the side art as well.
